Sportline 345 Step/Distance/Calorie, Oct 17, 2008

FIVE of the Sportline 345's have been replaced in the past six months for a broken belt clip. The plastic belt clip is thin plastic, poorly designed, brittle, flimsy.
The SIXTH Sportline 345 sits on my desk, broken after two uses -- again at the belt clip.
Sportline declines to replace this item with a more suitable product or to refund my purchase price. The unit is a flimsy, brittle, breakage assured, design which has spent more time in the mail being replaced than on my belt being used.
Sportline Customer Service is non-existent. Word needs to get out. Bad design! Poor service. When word gets out, maybe Sportline will address the design issue.
Sportline stinks . . . One star is WAY too nice a rating. |

This pedometer does too much, too many options and very confusing to set and re-set. My first one was an inexpensive Timex, easy to read and always right on, but the screen went bad and my husband replaced it with this Sportline. It worked fine at first, but now it just seems to have a mind of its own. I once walked three times around a Mall which I know for a fact is 3/4 mile and the pedometer recording said I had walked 72 steps and .09 miles. Ridiculous. I have read the instructions over and over and tried different things, but nothing is giving me anywhere near an acurate reading. And it is NOT easy to open! I just leave it behind now, it's not worth the hassle. |
